What Mosayix Is
Whiteboards, spreadsheets, radios, and three-ring binders were never designed to run an airspace. Mosayix replaces them with three things working as one system.
01 · The Range Management System
Operator intake with the documents that matter, from ConOps to insurance to pilot certs, in a vault that tracks expiries and blocks scheduling on lapsed paperwork. Airspace requests arrive in the RSO's queue with conflict checks already run. Datasheets generate themselves from the flight record, weather pre-filled. The quarterly sponsor and FAA report becomes an export, not a project.
02 · Two Deconfliction Layers
Strategic deconfliction checks every airspace request in four dimensions at booking. That is the range's scheduling duty, automated. It checks where the aircraft goes if the link drops, too: lost-link termination areas are screened against range-defined exclusion zones, so a plan that would put an aircraft down over a populated area is refused before it reaches the queue. Tactical alerting watches live traffic against active volumes and cues the two people who can act: the RSO with suspension authority, and the pilot who owns the right of way.
03 · The Fused Picture
Scheduled operation volumes, cooperative manned traffic, weather, TFRs and NOTAMs, and special use airspace, rendered in 3D over real terrain, with full replay of any time window. The picture isn't the product; it's what makes the rest trustworthy.
A Day at the Range
Every step a range runs on paper today, Mosayix runs as a workflow: timestamped, attributed, and already filed.
1 · Request
An operator draws their airspace on the map, declares frequencies, and files a lost-link plan. The system checks documents, conflicts, and exclusion zones before a human ever looks.
2 · Review & Approve
The RSO's queue shows each request with the checks already run and the operator's compliance standing one click away. Approve or deny; both land in the audit trail.
3 · Fly
The daily brief prints itself. The picture watches the sky. The readiness state — GREEN, AMBER, RED — synthesizes traffic, weather rules, and feed health on every screen.
4 · Close Out
The datasheet generates from the operation record with the flight-window weather pre-filled. The operator confirms; the RSO approves. Nobody chases a PDF.
5 · Report
Sponsor and FAA report packs export on demand. After any event, the incident reconstruction bundle, with tracks, alerts, acknowledgments, and the hash chain, is the evidence file, ready to hand over.
Every step · On the record
Requests, approvals, status changes, alerts, and acknowledgments are timestamped, attributed, and chained. When a sponsor, the FAA, or an insurer asks how the range is run, you show them.
Your Operators
The testing companies that fly at your range work inside Mosayix too, in a portal scoped to their own records. Everything they can do for themselves is work your team no longer does.
They file, you approve
Operators draw their own volumes, set altitudes and windows, declare their frequencies, and file a lost-link plan. Requests reach your queue already checked against conflicts, airspace constraints, and exclusion zones, not as an email with a PDF attached.
They keep their own paperwork current
Certificates, insurance, and agreements live in the vault with expiry tracking, and a lapsed requirement blocks that operator's next booking automatically. The system does the policing, so your RSO doesn't have to.
They close out their own flights
The datasheet generates from the flight record with the weather already filled in. The operator reviews and confirms; the RSO approves. The sponsor's reporting artifact is finished the day of the flight.
Operators see only their own operations, documents, and datasheets. On shared views, another company's scheduled airspace appears as an occupied volume without identity: enough to plan around, never enough to expose one customer's business to another.
Three Minutes
Real terrain. A real COA boundary. Real recorded traffic: 189 aircraft replayed against live operation volumes, with the alert feed calling separation as it closes.
Tactical Deconfliction
Alerts weight closure rate, not just distance. A fast aircraft three miles out and inbound matters more than a slow one tracking away. Alerts don't take responsibility from the pilot or the RSO; they compress the time between traffic existing and the right people knowing. Every alert, escalation, and acknowledgment is written to an immutable event log.
